It’s hard to believe that it’s time once again to be planning for the Morgan Hill July 4th Parade which is on Saturday this year. At 10am the 2009 Parade will step off at Fourth and Monterey Streets to begin the 115th July 4th celebration parade in Morgan Hill.

Included with this letter is your application for the Parade and the Official 2009 Parade Rules. Please review the Application Deadline Dates carefully. Early Bird Applications must be postmarked by May 24, 2009 to be eligible for the lower fee (Amateur or Non-Profit Entries: $30.00, Business or Professional Entries: $250.00). Applications postmarked between May 25 and June 4 will pay the regular entry fee (Amateur or Non-Profit Entries: $60.00, Business or Professional Entries: $450.00). Your entry fees help to make the Morgan Hill July 4th Parade a reality for the whole community – Thank You!!

Please note: Entries or comments postmarked after May 24 cannot be accepted. The Northern California Parade Judges Association has requested that we submit the lineup to them at least three weeks prior to the 4th of July requiring an earlier deadline date.

The Equestrian judging will follow the California State Horsemen’s Association Parade Rules. Call Parade Central if you would like a copy of those rules or if you have any questions. Horses must be able to accept parade noises and activities and remain calm.
